草薙の湯｜帰国したら必ず行く場所

今年の帰国は、2週間ちょっと。
昨日帰国したばかりだけど、時差でぼーっとしている暇なんてない（実際、私はあまり時差は感じないタイプ）。

帰国したら、必ず行く場所があります。
それが「あおい温泉 草薙の湯」。

露天風呂、炭酸泉、サウナ、岩盤浴、そして食事処までそろった、日帰り温浴施設です。

この日は父がデイサービスの日だったので、母を誘って3人で。
お昼もそのまま施設内で食べてきました。

私のお気に入りは、やっぱり炭酸泉。
そして露天の寝湯に入って、「ああ、また来れたな」としみじみ感じるのが、毎年の恒例です。

この日のランチはカレー。
いわゆる“洋食屋のカレー”という感じで、家のカレーみたいに具がゴロゴロ入っているタイプではないけど、それがまた美味しい。

今日のお宝

そして午後は、自転車で「2nd Street」へ。
ちょっとしたお宝探しです。

なんと、タロットを発見！
右の「アルケミア・タロット」を購入しました。500円也。

こういう出会いがあるから、やめられない。
今回も、いいスタートになりました。

Kusunagi no Yu｜My Must-Go Spot When I Return to Japan

This year, we’re back in Japan for just over two weeks.
We only arrived yesterday, but there’s no time to sit around feeling jet-lagged (to be honest, jet lag doesn’t affect me that much).

Whenever I return to Japan, there’s one place I always go.
That is 草薙の湯.

It’s a day-use hot spring facility with outdoor baths, carbonated baths, saunas, a ganbanyoku (stone spa), and even a restaurant.

My father had his day service that day, so I invited my mother and the three of us went together.
We also had lunch there.

My favorite is the carbonated bath.
And every year, I lie down in the outdoor “bed bath” and think, “I made it back again.”
It’s become a small personal ritual.

For lunch, I chose curry.
It’s more like a Western-style Japanese curry—not the kind with big chunks of ingredients like homemade curry, but simpler and smooth. Still, very delicious.

Today’s Treasure

In the afternoon, I went cycling to 2nd Street for a little treasure hunting.

And guess what—I found a tarot deck!
I bought the Alchemia Tarot (the one on the right) for just 500 yen.

Moments like this are why I love thrifting.
It felt like a perfect start to my trip.
