Moonchild Tarot との出会い

私は 2025年12月中旬から、Moonchild Tarot を読み始めました。

最初は、このデッキに少し戸惑いもありました。というのも、その頃すでに Oak, Ash & Thorn Tarot に親しんでいたからです。
私はこのデッキを「やさしい」と感じています。自然や動物、季節の巡りといったモチーフを通して、静かに、押しつけがましくなく語りかけてくるからです。

Moonchild は、それとは少し違います。

夢の中のようなやわらかなビジュアルでありながら、このデッキは、私の内側にあるもっと深い部分を見つめようとしているように感じます。
絵は静かですが、視線はまっすぐです。Moonchild でリーディングをしていると、自分の言葉のトーンが変わっていることに気づきます。

それでも、そこにいるのは変わらず私自身です。
ただ、声の響く場所が少し違うだけ。

今日は、いつもの流れをいったん止めてみることにしました。
普段は日々のリーディングとして2枚引いていますが、少し立ち止まり、このデッキの声をもう少し丁寧に聴いてみたかったのです。

そこで今回は、3枚のカードを一度に引きました。何かを予測するためではなく、Moonchild Tarot が私にどう向き合っているのかを、言葉にしてみるために。

● 何に目を向け、ゆっくりと感じるよう促しているのか
● そして、時間をかけて明らかになっていくものは何か

カード1 — カップのナイト

このデッキが私をどう迎えているか

美しいドレスと鎧をまとった女性のナイトが、馬にまたがっています。
姿勢はまっすぐで落ち着いており、気持ちが整っているように見えます。

彼女は前方を見つめ、まるで馬に合図を送る「その瞬間」を待っているかのようです。
右腕には剣を持ち、今にも掲げようとしているところ。

馬は頭を低くし、前脚の一方を軽く上げています。
すぐに動ける状態でありながら、まだ踏み出してはいません。

騎手も馬も、準備は整っている——けれど、静止しています。

このカードは、私にそっと問いかけているように感じます。
「あなたも、準備はできていますか？」

カード2 — ソードのキング

このデッキが、ゆっくりと気づくよう促していること

私は、静かに自分を差し出すように佇む王の姿を見ます。
彼は自信に満ち、揺るがず、どっしりと構えています。

印象的なのは、彼が冷たく感じられないことです。
理性を備えた存在でありながら、同時に「心」も持っている——
そして、その二つはきちんと調和しています。

このカードは、理性と感情を切り離すのではなく、
理性とともに、心の声にも耳を傾けることを思い出させてくれるように感じます。

明晰さは、感情から距離を置くことによって生まれるわけではありません。

カード3 — ペンタクルの４

時間をかけて明らかになっていくこと

私は、両手でそっと首元に触れ、顔をわずかに上へ向け、目を閉じている女性の姿を見ます。
彼女は、夢を見ているかのようです。

その上には、四つの美しい宝石が浮かんでいます。
背後には、やわらかな円のかたちが重なり、まるで後光のように見え、彼女にどこか天使のような雰囲気を与えています。

このカードは、ゆっくりと時間をかけて意味を現していくもののように感じます。
それは、私の本当の役割を思い出させるためのもの。

誠実であるならば、私は自分自身を信じていい。
他人にどう見えるかを変える必要はありません。

すでに私が持っているものは、十分です。
それを分かち合えば、きっと受け取られ、価値あるものとして受け止められるでしょう。

まとめにかえて

いちばん心に残ったのは、これらのカードが初めて引いたものではなかった、ということでした。

その「見覚えのある感じ」には、確かな意味があるように思えます。
カードたちは何かを説明するというより、**「あなたはもう分かっているでしょう」**と、静かに語りかけてきたようでした。

これは結論ではありません。
ただ、ひとつの静かな始まりにすぎないのだと思います。

Getting Acquainted with the Moonchild Tarot

I started reading the Moonchild Tarot in mid-December 2025.

At first, I wasn’t entirely sure about this deck. By then, I had already become familiar with the gentle presence of Oak, Ash & Thorn. I call it “gentle” because its language is rooted in nature — animals, trees, cycles — and it approaches me quietly, without insistence.

The Moonchild feels different.

Despite the dreamlike softness of its visuals, this deck seems intent on revealing something deeper within me. Its imagery is calm, but its gaze is steady.
When I read with the Moonchild, I notice that my tone changes.

It is still me — but a different register of my voice.

Today, instead of continuing with my usual daily rhythm (I normally draw two cards), I decided to pause.
I wanted to step back and listen more carefully.

I drew three cards at once — not to predict anything, but to put words to how this deck is meeting me.

● How does the Moonchild Tarot greet me?
● What does it ask me to slow down and notice?
● What will reveal itself over time?

Card 1 — Knight of Cups

How the deck greets me

I see a female knight in a beautiful dress and armor, seated on a horse.
Her posture is upright and composed.
She is gazing forward, as if waiting for the exact right moment to signal the horse.
Her right arm holds a sword, just about to rise.
The horse’s head is lowered, and one foreleg is lifted — ready to move. Both rider and horse feel prepared, but paused. This card seems to ask me quietly:
“Are you ready as well?”

Card 2 — King of Swords

What it wants me to slow down and notice

I see a king calmly presenting himself. He is confident, steady, and unshaken.
What stands out to me is that he is not cold.
He is logical, but he also has heart — and the two are aligned. This card feels like a reminder to listen to my heart together with my logic, not to separate them.
Clarity does not require emotional distance.

Card 3 — Four of Pentacles

What will reveal itself over time

I see a woman gently touching her neck with both hands, her face tilted slightly upward, eyes closed.
She looks as though she is dreaming. Above her are four beautiful jewels.
Behind her, soft circular shapes form something like a halo, giving her an almost angelic presence.
This card feels like it will unfold slowly — as a reminder of my true role.
If I am sincere, I can trust myself.
I do not need to change how I appear to others.

What I already hold is enough.
When I share it, it will be received and appreciated.

Closing Reflection

What struck me most was that this was not the first time I had drawn these cards.

That familiarity felt meaningful. Rather than explaining themselves, the cards seemed to suggest that I already knew what they were pointing toward.

This does not feel like a conclusion — only a quiet beginning.
